We understand that a new church community can be intimidating. Our Guest Experience Team works to help make your time at Pinnacle as stress free as possible, beginning with smiling faces at the door. We have friendly people available to guide your entire family through our building. They can make sure your children are settled in or just ensure that you have a fresh cup of Roasters coffee and a snack before enjoying the service. There is also an information bar in our living room where our Connections staff is waiting to meet you and answer any questions you might have.
Every Sunday morning at 9:30am Pinnacle gathers in the Meeting Place for “242". Our 242 service is like nothing you have experienced. The focus is not on the typical lecture style teaching we are used to. Instead, one of the members of the teaching team will facilitate discussion that covers a variety of biblical topics. The teaching is blended with group discussion questions, journal prompts, and even opportunities to practice what is being learned that morning. We try to pace the service so that more can be practiced and absorbed. There is plenty of interaction and discussion both in small groups and with all who are present. Every session of 242 ends with the sharing of communion together, and is followed by a time of fellowship and breakfast together.
Sundays at 10:45am, Pinnacle gets together to celebrate to love of God and what He is doing in our lives. We start with prayer and worship, singing songs of praise and worship to the Most High God. We recognize that God is moving during our time of worship, and He may want you to receive ministry at that time; so we provide prayer partners who are ready to pray with you at any time during the singing and ministry time. Before the message is delivered we provide time for everyone to practice ministry. Feel free to leave your seat to receive prayer or pray in your seat at any time during the service. Everyone is invited to pray as the Spirit leads them, in groups, individually, or even cross the room to pray with a friend. Once that time has ended, one of the pastors or a member of the teaching team will deliver the good news and truth of Jesus Christ in a conversational and approachable manner that will inspire and challenge you to practice your faith. Everyone is then given the opportunity to respond in giving to the Lord their tithes and offerings. As we finish our morning together, everyone is left with a blessing to fill their hearts and prepare them for a great week ahead.
Make sure to fill out a You Matter card during the service. After the service take your You Matter Card to the Living Room at the back of the Meeting Place and meet one of our friendly staff members to get more information about what we offer throughout the week at Pinnacle.
At 9:30 a.m. our Nursery ages birth-3 years old will be available. A separate class for ages 4 years to 5th grade will also meet and use a video based curriculum. At 10:45a.m. the Nursery ages birth-3 years old will be available again. Ages 4 years to 5th grade will meet in the Refuge for our Pinnacle Kids Service. We ask that between the two components of Sunday morning, you pick your children up and let them enjoy breakfast and fellowship with the rest of the community. They can return to their respective areas before the Community Celebration at 10:45. Find out more about Pinnacle Kids by clicking here.
The Refuge Student Ministries
Our goal is to equip and minister to everyone at Pinnacle. Students are not a separate entity but are a part of the community. Students grades 6 and up are invited to join us for the 242 service. They will then participate in the singing part of our Community Celebration, and will leave for a focused discipleship time in the office. They also meet for "Afterlife," a focused ministry on Wednesday evenings at 6:30p.m. Get information about The Refuge Student Ministries by clicking here.
